Individual Therapy

Individual telehealth consultations provide a confidential setting to discuss your workplace-related circumstances, concerns and goals. Sessions may explore your experiences, different perspectives on the issues you raise and approaches that may be relevant to your situation.

Consultations focus on the matters you wish to discuss and may involve exploring patterns of thoughts, emotions and behaviours, developing relevant skills, considering different ways of responding to situations and identifying appropriate sources of support. Your psychologist will work with you to explore these matters and consider approaches that align with your circumstances, preferences and goals.

The focus and pace of each consultation will depend on your individual circumstances and the topics you wish to explore.

Individual consultations are aimed to address workplace-related concerns, including:

  • workplace-related stress, anxiety and burnout

  • difficult workplace relationships and conflict

  • workplace communication and interpersonal challenges

  • job-seeking, interview preparation and career transitions

  • performance pressure, confidence and motivation

  • workload, boundaries and work-life balance

  • workplace change, uncertainty and career transitions

  • challenging or psychologically difficult work environments

Standard Telehealth Session

A woman and a man sitting in a living room engaged in conversation. The woman is dressed in a gray blazer and black pants, leaning forward slightly, and the man is wearing a blue sweater, sitting comfortably, smiling. They have papers and a notebook on the coffee table in front of them, with decorative teacups and vases nearby.

Standard sessions provide focused psychological support for exploring workplace-related concerns, developing practical strategies and working toward goals.

50 minutes

Extended Telehealth Session

Two men are sitting at a table in a bright indoor space with large windows, having a conversation.

75 minutes (1 hour and 15 mins)

Extended sessions are 1.5 times the length of a standard session and provide additional time for more complex situations, deeper therapeutic work and issues where greater time is beneficial.
